Overseer Maria Stafford is the Founder & Senior Pastor of Rebirth Church of Atlanta in
Decatur, Ga. Following in the footsteps of her Father, the late Dr. W.J. Stafford, Dr.
Maria Stafford has faithfully served the Lord and the Church for over forty years through a
multitude of discipleship roles. Through the anointing of Jesus Christ, Pastor Stafford is
heralded for her Real, Raw & Relevant approach to the teaching of Kingdom truths.
Overseer Maria Stafford founded Women UNITE and EntrepreneurHER to empower,
educate, & enrich women and female entrepreneurs to become their best
selves. Overseer Stafford’s life’s mission is to bring Jesus to the people, wherever they are.
Alexis Brookins
Lead Pastor
Pastor Alexis Brookins II was born in September of 1989. The Atlanta native graduated from Banneker High School located in College Park, Ga in 2008, and studied Psychology and Theology at Ohio Christian University. After accepting Christ at an early age, Pastor Brookins began his Christian walk at First St. Peter A.M.E Church in Atlanta. In 2011 Pastor Brookins transitioned to The ReBirth Church of Atlanta where he accepted his call into ministry. He was ordained a Minister in 2012 and served as Youth Pastor at Rebirth under the pasturage of Dr. Maria Stafford. He was ordained Executive Pastor in 2015 and Lead Pastor in 2019. His current ministerial works are the One By One Outreach Mission, Real Men Reign Men’s Ministry, and preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those within and outside the walls of the Church. He is a loving husband and devoted servant of the kingdom of God. Pastor Brookins loves the Lord and has a heart for God’s people. His favorite scripture is Psalms 27:14 “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”.
